M2V2U. This dual USB 3.0 expansion for early LC100 and LX470 may look simple, but the engineering behind it was anything but.
To make this part work properly in the M2V2 location, we had to account for both thermal and mechanical demands inside the center dash area. Material selection was critical. On top of that, the surface geometry had to match the factory panel curvature as closely as possible, which made the design process far more complex than it appears.
Compared to flatter and simpler designs, this part required significantly more development time, more testing, and a much more demanding print process before it was ready. What looks like a small part on the outside took a lot of work to get right.
